In a letter to President Cal Tarrant, Joel Shaw details a recent mission by Mark Seven to the dark side of the Moon. Mark Seven engaged the Daleks in combat, defeating them, and finding a mysterious artefact with some alarmingly high-tech Dalek weaponry.

A letter from Mark Seven to Joel Shaw details the discovery of the body of ADF Special Agent Ulla Vax in a frozen block of ice on Gra 2. The recording she left behind poses more questions than answers as Seven stresses the potential danger hidden in Vax's findings.
