Space Freak! was a short story printed in TV Century 21 that contained elements from the Doctor Who universe. Framed as the front page of an in-universe periodical, the titular article made reference to the Zero X comic story Prisoners of the Eye Leaves, which was a crossover with the DWU.
Summary[]
On Friday, the tight three-day security clamp-down over Glenn Field Spaceport is ended with the news that a "double-linked planet" has been discovered in Astro-Sector 40. Zero X blasts off in the morning for a "routine" space patrol mission. TV 21's special correspondent at Glenn Field states a World Government film-survey crew are aboard the starship, leading the magazine to confidently say that Zero X has been ordered to investigate the mystery.
Meanwhile, TV21 promises goals, action and excitement as the new series Super League joins the line-up of the publication. The front page encourages readers to turn to the fourth page in order to travel the world with the Manchester Eagles and share in their adventure.
