A sonic mine was a weapon unearthed by the Thirteenth Doctor and her companions on Seffilun 27. It was deadly, as it was able to "scramble" one's internal organs if caught within the blast radius, requiring urgent medical attention to save them.
The Doctor tried to place the sonic mine in a temporal lock, but failed to do so due to the number of sensors. The mine was activated and the Doctor and her companions were incapacitated for four days, finally coming conscious after treatment on the medical ship Tsuranga. (TV: The Tsuranga Conundrum)
