Sock Pig was a 2011 Big Finish Productions audio short story featuring the Fifth Doctor. It was read by Peter Davison.
Summary
The Doctor investigates why toy animals are mysteriously coming to life in a young woman’s house.
Characters
- Fifth Doctor
- Woman
- Mother
- Sock Pig
- Ralph
- The Anima
References
- The Anima pour through the Animus Rip from the vortex.
- Ralph was, presumably, the woman's child, who passed away.
Notes
- This story is set between TV: Kinda and TV: The Visitation. The authors intended that the Doctor has popped out for the night and has pieced together his tool from elements of the delta wave augmenter.
- The story is told in present tense: "She smiles" rather than "She smiled."
Continuity
- The Doctor would later encounter other inanimate objects that became animate. (TV: The Family of Blood)
