- Yiara is a mermaid from Brazilian mythology based on ancient Tupi and Guaraní mythology.
- Lpupiara is also a character from Brazilian mythology, though the correct spelling for it is Ipupiara.
- In Russian, Zloy Volk means Bad Wolf and Vremya Union means Time Union.
