Skegpool, which is a portmanteau of Skegness and Blackpool, is a reoccurring location in Lew Stringer's other works, first appearing in his Combat Colin strips. An example of this is present in an issue of Sonic the Comic, an extension of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise.
