Silurian scientist (The Crystal Throne)

A Silurian scientist worked with several other Silurians in a chamber beneath a diamond mine deep beneath the surface of South Africa to develop a genetic splicer. When Lady Cornelia Basildon-Stone's workers discovered the chamber in the late 19th century, this scientist was the only one to have "survived time's savagery" while attempting to preserve themselves. Lady Basildon Stone tortured the scientist, and persuaded the scientist to tell her about the history of the Silurians and how the gene splicer operated. Lady Basildon-Stone then killed the scientist. (COMIC: The Crystal Throne)
