Sil and the Avian Uprising was a planned stage play written by Philip Martin, featuring the return of Nabil Shaban as Sil and Sophie Aldred as Mistress Na,[1] set for release in Autumn 2021.[2]
The stage play was produced by the Crime And Comedy Theatre Company, but the stage play never made it to the scripting stage due to the declining health[1] and later death[2] of Martin; however, the plot and characters were outlined, and theatre dates had been planned and tickets had began going on sale.[1] It was intended to be a "satirical drama" based upon Orson Welles's 1938 broadcast of The War of the Worlds.[2]
