Short Trips: How the Doctor Changed My Life was the twenty-sixth Short Trips anthology published by Big Finish Productions. It was comprised of twenty-five short stories written by the winners of a writing competition held by Big Finish to find new authors. Of the twenty-five winners, only seven of them subsequently returned to write more BF fiction: Mike Amberry, Arnold T. Blumberg, John Callaghan, Stephen Dunn, Matthew James, Michael Rees and Caleb Woodbridge.
