Shirley Gilbert was an Earth human.
In 1966, she tried to join Lend-a-Hand along with Rose Tyler. After she and Rose were attacked, the Ninth Doctor sent her home. However, she ignored him and followed him back to Lend-a-Hand, where she was converted by Igrix into one of the Lend-a-Hand girls. She returned to normal after Rose threw a bottle of the "human virus" at the Lend-a-Hand girls. (COMIC: The Love Invasion)
