Scribble

A scribble was a form of drawing and writing.

History[]

Sometime prior to 2005, the Ninth Doctor scribbled in the margins of "definitive" works on the creation of the universe in the British Library Cosmology Section while tutting and laughing. The Doctor quickly left after a Librarian asked the Doctor for identification. The Ninth Doctor also visited the York Central Library, where he was caught scribbling in the biographies of HG Wells, Boudica, Tancred Norman, Xenocrates, Blaise Pascal and Margaret Thatcher, after he erased entire paragraphs with a "hand-held electronic 'eraser' device". One of his scribbles, in particular, was him writing "Nessie was here! in Thatcher's biography. Senior librarian Ms Millicent Davies banned the Doctor from the York Central Library and then applied to get the Doctor an ASBO to ban him from all UK libraries. (PROSE: Have You Seen This Man? On 27 July 2012, a "scribble creature" made up of graphite was created by the Isolus as the result of a drawing mistake by Chloe Webber. (TV: Fear Her [+]Matthew Graham, Doctor Who series 2 (BBC One, 2006).)
