A scientist was once captured by the Daleks because of an invention he made that they wanted.
The First Doctor and Ian landed where he was being kept and freed him. When telling them of what happened, a Dalek spotted them. Thinking quickly, Ian threw his coat over the Dalek's eye and the trio all made their escape. (COMIC: Rescued from the Daleks)
