Scarlet Kidnapped! was a short story printed in TV Century 21 that contained elements from the Doctor Who universe. Framed as the front page of an in-universe periodical, the titular article made reference to the Captain Scarlet comic story We Will Destroy Unity City, which was a crossover with the DWU.
Summary[]
A Spectrum red report is issued as Captain Scarlet is kidnapped by the Mysterons. Hijacking the Alpha Centauri Space Probe rocket, Captain Black, with Scarlet captive, blasts off through space on a set course for Mars and the Mysteron City. The World Space Patrol are soon called in and given orders to intercept and destroy the rocket.

- Scarlet underwent Mysteronisation and was subsequently revived following his fall to death from the Car-Vue in London. (COMIC: We Will Destroy Unity City, PROSE: Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons)
- Captain Black was once a "brilliant" Spectrum agent but was taken over by the Mysterons to spearhead their war against Earth. He too was made indestructible. (PROSE: Rogues Gallery)
