Sam Seeley was the 22nd The Blogs of Doom short story, published in 2019 in Doctor Who Magazine 540. Like other features in the series, it narrated events in the life of a minor Doctor Who TV character before and after their involvement in the Doctor's life.
In this case, the subject of writer Jonathan Morris's attention was Sam Seeley from Spearhead from Space.
Summary[]
Sam Seeley recounts how "thunderballs" are falling out of the sky again, and might be worth something. Afterwards a police box appears and a man exists and collapses, and Sam checks his pockets but finds no money. He hides one of the thunderballs in his trunk and attempts to coerce a UNIT soldier for money, but doesn't succeed. He then reunites with his wife Meg in the hospital and demands she cook up a rabbit.
