Saladin's ornamental dagger

An ornamental dagger inlaid with precious stones was gifted by Saladin to the Doctor. Shortly following his regeneration within the TARDIS, the Second Doctor retrieved this dagger from a trunk and, refering to himself in the third person, remarked that the Doctor was a "great collector".
