Sabor, the husband of Neska and father of Arak, Tuar and Rega, was a member of the human colony on Metebelis III. When the Eight Legs sought Arak for attacking one of her guards, Sabor offered himself in his son's place, and he was taken prisoner and placed in a cocoon-like web restraint. He was resigned to his fate, and urged Sarah Jane and the Doctor to do likewise. He was later rescued by Arak and Tuar. (TV: Planet of the Spiders)
