Russell has worked as a sound designer for several Big Finish Productions. Russell also wrote the Subscriber Short Trip audio story The Horror of Hy-Brasil for Big Finish Productions, and The Spectre of Gelsandor for Pencil Tip Publishing as part of the Doctor Who charity anthology Temporal Logbook II.
