The Rovers Return Inn, also known as the Rover's Return, was a pub on a street in Weatherfield.

History[]

Red Nose Day 1991[]

For Red Nose Day 1991, the Rovers Return Inn arrived as a "guest", "straight from those drizzly cobbled streets up north", with Jonathan Ross claiming that the Rover's Return was manning the telephone lines and supplying refreshments, such as pork scratchings and Bet's Hotpot. (COMIC: The Totally Stonking, Surprisingly Educational And Utterly Mindboggling Comic Relief Comic [+]Dan Abnett, et al., Fleetway Publications (1991).)

Visited by the Eleventh Doctor[]

The Eleventh Doctor landed the TARDIS on the street, near the Rovers, while trying to get Dermot O'Leary to the National Television Awards. Becky McDonald stormed into the pub after furiously shouting to the Doctor that it was "over" between them. (TV: Dermot and the Doctor [+]Steven Moffat, ITV1 (2011).)
