Behind the scenes[]

  • Rolf Harris was, for decades a much loved national treasure. However, his reputation was irreparably tarnished in 2014, when he was convicted of sexual offences.
  • When Heroes of Sontar was broadcast on BBC Radio 4 Extra in 2015, Tegan's line was changed to "What do you think you're playing at?" as Rolf Harris had since been exposed as a sex offender.
  • He appeared with Colin Baker on the gameshow Star Games in 1978. The episode was also used as evidence in Harris' trial for sexual abuse.
