Rita-Anne Smith(about 1940 - 2002) was the blind grandmother of Mickey Smith. She lived in London. Mickey's father, a keycutter, left him at an early age and he ended up living with her. Mickey's girlfriend, Rose described her as a great woman who would sometimes slap him around. Rita-Anne died of a broken neck after falling downstairs due to having Mickey neglected to fix the stair carpet. (TV: Rise of the Cybermen)
