Rigel was the advisor of the emperor of the Levithian Empire. When the emperor was killed by his brother, Grath, Rigel was blamed for his death. He helped Asher and Ella flee Levithia to Gallifrey. Rigel returned to the twins on their birthday each year until they came of age. When the twins came of age, Rigel returned them home, where they took back their empire.
