In the Celestial Toyroom, Steven Taylor and Dodo Chaplet had to solve a riddle involving several chairs. (TV: The Celestial Toymaker)
To discover the secret of creativity, Princess Tura, a being of thought from another dimension, would ask men three riddles. If even one guess was incorrect, as was the case until the Eighth Doctor answered her riddles, she would transform the man into the animal or object she saw them as. For example, Massimo was turned into a cherry blossom, and the Doctor was threatened with becoming a fish. This habit of Tura's inspired Giacomo Puccini, for whom she had financed Madame Butterfly, to base the protagonist of Turandot on her. (AUDIO: Puccini and the Doctor)
