Rhossili Bay was a small area of water to the north of the mouth of the Bristol Channel, just off the coast of Rhossili.

Newearth2 — Rhossili Bay stands in for the location of New New York. (TV: *New Earth*)

Located on the Gower peninsula, Rhossili Bay was used as a filming location for the Doctor Who episode New Earth, where it was the backdrop to the cliff facing New New York Hospital (used as a CGI matte painting). It was later used again for the Torchwood episode The New World, for which nearby Rectory Cottage stood in for Gwen and Rhys' house.
