Rebecca Root (born 10 May 1969[1]) voiced several characters for Big Finish Productions, including the Eighth Doctor's companion Tania Bell in the Stranded audio series and Cantico in the Gallifrey: Time War audio series.
Following Bethany Black and Adèle Anderson, she was one of the first openly trans actresses to play a role in Doctor Who.
