Ravenscaur School was a school on the Raven Peninsula. It was founded in 1870 by Admiral Hamish Ravenscaur. It was originally intended to be a school for poor children and orphans but after the Admiral's death it became one of the most exclusive schools in the world, mainly catering to the children of royalty, politicians, business leaders, and celebrities. The school didn't accept female students until 1970.
In September 2015, the Twelfth Doctor and Clara Oswald travelled to the school to investigate the disappearance of Clara's friend, Christel Dean.
The school was destroyed along with Raven Peninsula when the Doctor redirected the pulse of the Sea Devils' Sonic Devastators so that they would destroy the evacuated island rather than the Scottish mainland. (COMIC: Clara Oswald and the School of Death)
