Radio Times is a weekly BBC magazine that publishes television and radio program listings.

The Daleks arrive again at election time in the UK. So as to show no political bias, three new primary coloured Daleks (red, blue and yellow) front copies of this edition available nationally in equal numbers. A more subtle nod to each party than the Dalek colour schemes is that the red (Labour) Dalek is glancing over to the left of the cover, the blue (Conservative) Dalek is glancing to the right, and the yellow (LibDem) Dalek is looking straight out the centre of the page.

Of note here is a five page lead feature showcasing new dramas and leading UK talent. Among the 10 actors included are a significant of Doctor Who names; Christopher Eccleston (Ninth Doctor), Noel Clarke (Mickey Smith), Dervla Kirwan (Mercy Hartigan), David Morrissey (the Next Doctor), David Harewood (Joshua Naismith).
Also noteworthy is the letters page which includes some of the 5000+ complaints the BBC received over the trailer for Graham Norton's Over the Rainbow show that was aired some 20 seconds too early and spoilt the cliffhanger ending of The Time of Angels.

I didn’t enjoy the environment and culture that we, the cast and crew, had to work in. I wasn’t comfortable. I thought, “If I’d stay in this job, I’m going to have to bind myself to certain things that I thought were wrong.” And I think it’s more important to be your own man than be successful, so I left. Considering that the BBC3 Doctor Who was a re-run of the recent Series Five it still managed to secure a 'Choice of the Day' (Friday)
