Puddles was a cat owned by Jean Baisemore. Jean insisted on showing photographs of him to her fellow students at Newnham College during Freshers' Week. Liz Shaw lived with Jean at Elm View Cottage for two years. Although she did not like cats, she came to an understanding with Puddles over time.
In the early 1970s, Puddles was partly-eaten and killed by a Cybermat. His body was found by Liz, who was disturbed by the sight. (AUDIO: The Blue Tooth)
