Puccini and the Doctor was the first story in the audio anthology Deadly Strangers, produced by Big Finish Productions. It was written by Matthew Jacobs and featured Paul McGann as the Eighth Doctor, India Fisher as Charlotte Pollard and Jaye Griffiths as Lady Audacity Montague.

Worldbuilding[]
- Princess Tura has asked many a man to answer three riddles, transforming them into random animals or objects when they are incorrect. She will serve as the inspiration for the eponymous protagonist of Turandot, Puccini's last, unfinished opera.
- In her time on Earth, Tura has accumulated a substantial amount of wealth, owning an extravagant mansion and equally opulent sailboat.
