Prelude Against Nature was, as the name suggested, a prelude to Against Nature by Lawrence Burton. It did not appear in the published novel.

Summary[edit | edit source]

Ocotochtli and Lord Ahuizotl observe Momacani's reaction to a newly-appeared room in Tenochtitlan. The chamber is ; inside lay the collapsed bodies of a man and woman dressed in bone-like armour and animal skull masks. Momacani assesses that they are Mocolxiutecatl, and Ahuizotl invites him to become one of his Ixtilli. They then realise the room has disappeared.
