Pizza was a type of food found on Earth. Pizza consisted of a bread crust, usually a layer of tomato sauce (but other sauces such as barbecue could be used), a layer of cheese and various toppings. In the 20th century and 21st century, pizza was a popular choice for a meal. (TV: The Parting of the Ways, Love & Monsters) Pizza could be ordered for delivery from certain restaurants such as Jubilee Pizza, which was favoured by Torchwood Three in Cardiff. (TV: Everything Changes) Standard toppings had names, for instance, Hawaiian pizza was with pineapple. (PROSE: Joyride) Pizza parlours were restaurants that primarily served pizza. History

According to Peter Summerfield, pizza "started" around the 18th century. His father, Adrian Wall, liked pizza, specifically Hawaiian pizza. (PROSE: Big Bang Generation)
