Pizza was a type of food found on Earth. Pizza consisted of a bread crust, usually a layer of tomato sauce (but other sauces such as barbecue could be used), a layer of cheese and various toppings. In the 20th[source needed] and 21st centuries, pizza was a popular choice for a meal. Pizza could be ordered for delivery from certain restaurants such as Jubilee Pizza, which was favoured by Torchwood Three in Cardiff. In 2007, Elton Pope went out to get a pizza for him and Jackie Tyler. However, he was ultimately left alone with the pizza after Jackie angrily set him away after finding a photograph of her daughter in his coat, having intended to leave a tenner in his pocket in return for the pizza. Pizza was Caroline's favourite food, and suggested that she and Clive Finch go and eat pizza together. When he left her universe, she teased him about not being able to enjoy pizza. (AUDIO: The Flood)

Pizza was also found on another planet populated by Gornt. The teleportation system in New Port City meant that one pizza parlour had Pizza-Porter ovens that teleported pizza directly to customers' homes. (PROSE: Gatecrashers)
