Keira Knightley, who appeared as "the woman who can't take it anymore" in 2020: The Movie, starred in the series as Elizabeth Swann. The character has also been voiced in video games by Eliza Schneider, who played Nya in LEGO Dimensions.
Bill Nighy, who played Dr Henry Black in Vincent and the Doctor portrayed the series interpretation of Davy Jones in the second and third films. He has also been voiced in video games by Robin Atkin Downes, who voiced the ACU trooper in LEGO Dimensions.
Other actors who have appeared in both Doctor Who media and the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise include Kevin McNally, David Bailie, Jonathan Pryce, Giles New, David Schofield, Steve Speirs, and Lewis McGowan.
