Piloting Made Easy was an app created by the Thirteenth Doctor and retroactively added to Ryan Sinclair's mobile phone.
When the VOR plane started crashing due to a bomb going off in the cockpit, Ryan found signs pointing him to the How to Land a Plane Without a Cockpit pamphlet. Following the pamphlet's instructions, Ryan plugged his phone into the wiring in the plane's floor, triggering a prerecorded message from the Doctor to play and for the app to open on Ryan's phone with a message reading "Hiya, Ryan!" Ryan was confused as to how the app was installed on his phone. Ryan was able to use the app to communicate with the engines via the aircraft wiring and, with some difficulty, level the plane out. The app then keyed into the plane's preprogramed flight pattern and reactivated it, flying the plane automatically to its originally intended destination.
After the defeat of the Kasaavin invasion, Ryan asked the Doctor how she had saved them on the plane, prompting the Doctor go back in time and leave the pamphlet, the messages, and the app for Ryan. (TV: Spyfall [+]Chris Chibnall, Doctor Who series 12 (BBC One, 2020).)
