Philip of Spain, as he is only ever referred to as Philip in the sources in this article. At the very least it should be renamed as Philip II of Spain to dab from Philip II of France.

Philip was the King of Spain during the 16th century (AUDIO: The Flames of Cadiz) and of England by his marriage to Queen Mary I of England during the 1550s, which held in place an alliance between England and Spain. (AUDIO: The Marian Conspiracy)
By the 1587, however, England and Spain were at war following the execution of Mary Stuart by the Protestant English with Elizabeth I on the throne. In 1587, Philip was building his Armada to launch an attack on England at the behest of the Pope.
