Peter Childs (31 August 1939-1 November 1989[1]) played Jack Ward in the Doctor Who television story The Mark of the Rani.
Career[]
His best known role was playing D.C. Rycott on Minder. He had earlier played Detective Sergeant Grant on Softly, Softly: Taskforce and Ron Gash on Public Eye.
