The P7E was a Minyan spaceship. After the nuclear war which destroyed the Minyan civilisation, the P7E left for the stars, presumably to settle on some distant world. Its crew brought with them the race banks of their people. They were caught in a nebula where the ship was turned into a planet — thus, instead of settling on a new world, they became one. The Minyans survived and became the ancestors of a bizarre culture enslaved by the Oracle. (TV: Underworld)
Behind the scenes
- Many of the names and incidents in Underworld were derived from the myth of Jason and the Argonauts. However, the name of the P7E comes from another Greek myth, the story of Persephone, the goddess who was imprisoned in the underworld.
