Brother Oswald was a friar.
He was the third son of a knight, so would be going into the Church. After meeting Godwin, the two became lovers. They decided to both become friars so their avoidance of woman would not be noticed. When Philip of Seaby discovered their secret, they were forced to spy for him on their brothers. After Godwin was murdered, he left the friary for good. (PROSE: Asylum)
