Oslo was a city on the south coast (TV: The Lie of the Land [+]Toby Whithouse, Doctor Who series 10 (BBC One, 2017).) of Norway. (TV: The Seeds of Death [+]Brian Hayles, Doctor Who season 6 (BBC1, 1969).) It looked out over the North Sea. To the west of Oslo was Bergen, and to the east was the Norwegian border. At the time of the attempted Luron invasion of Earth in 1979, Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart was on a fishing trip in Oslo. In his absence, General Reginald Hemmings was the acting commander of the British division of UNIT. (AUDIO: The Valley of Death [+]Error: Code 2 - no data stored in variables, cache or SMW.)

In the 21st century, due to its cold climate and northern latitude, the Ice Warriors sent their Seed Pods to Oslo to create an atmosphere lethal to humans, but which the Ice Warriors could thrive in. This was foiled when the Second Doctor used the Weather Control Unit to destroy the pods with rain. (TV: The Seeds of Death [+]Brian Hayles, Doctor Who season 6 (BBC1, 1969).)

Erik, Trine and Hanne lived in Oslo, but after Trine died, Erik and Hanne moved to a rural Norwegian cottage. After their encounter with the Solitract in 2018, Erik resolved to move back to Oslo with Hanne. (TV: It Takes You Away [+]Ed Hime, Doctor Who series 11 (BBC One, 2018).)
