Ophion Oil was an oil company that was interested in drilling the oil under Antarctica.
When Snowcap University was built, they sent Paul South in as a spy, as they planned to use the building as their headquarters. According to Paul South, when the Antarctic Treaty came up for renewal in 2048, they would "swing it" so that they would be able to drill.
