Occhinos was a planet with more than one sun. The Fourth Doctor and K9 had decided to visit the planet for a holiday before being summoned by the White Guardian, (PROSE: Doctor Who and the Ribos Operation) though another account indicated they were heading to Halergan 3 for their holiday. (TV: The Ribos Operation)

Due to the positioning of its suns, Occhinos was bathed in perpetual sunlight. The Necrobiologicals, fleeing from their encounter with the Third Doctor on Sekhmet, utilized tinted bodysuits in order to hide on Occhinos, since it would be the last place light-sensitive vampires would go. The Fifth Doctor stated he'd scoured "half this galaxy" looking for them, indicating Occhinos and Sekhmet were in the same galaxy as Zaltys. (AUDIO: Zaltys)
