Noxmycota was a luminous fungus that arrived on Earth on a meteorite that landed in Sweden in 1070. Noxmycota increased aggression and reduced inhibitions. Accordingly, the hunters and reindeer near the meteorite impact crater became massively more violent than normal. Killing the fungus proved relatively straightforward. Since the fungus was sensitive to light, the Eighth Doctor and Izzy helped to build a huge bonfire close to the impact site. (PROSE: Illumination)
