History[]
During his exile on 20th century Earth, the Third Doctor once attempted a test flight of his compromised TARDIS which landed him in the territory. There, he discovered that a man named Rudolph Steiner was using the cover of the mostly lifeless desert to effect the highly secretive Gemini Plan. After meeting Steiner's former assistant, Murray Stevens, and some local Aborigines, the Doctor was able to thwart Steiner and turn the base over to the World Army. (COMIC: Gemini Plan)
