In 1951, Joseph Stalin held dinner parties at his dacha with high-ranking Politburo members that included Khrushchev, Malenkov, Bulganin, Beria, and Molotov. Khrushchev praised Stalin and at these parties but in private he speculated that Stalin had dementia and was wary of attacking America.
