The Nidilla were a species of giant spider native to the planet Dirimion 7.
Biology[]
The Nidilla had evolved to their incredible size after wiping out most other creatures on their planet. Baby Nidilla were green in colour and was the size of a normal humanoid lifeform, while adults were brown and much larger, capable of weaving webs up to twenty metres across, coated with a sticky substance similar to superglue.
History[]
The Nidilla had never been challenged and never before seen such uncontrollable rage in a rival when they met the Daleks. The Daleks landed on Dirimon 7 after clearing the other five planets in the Hanro system, sucking them dry of resources. Thousands of baby Nidilla scuttled all over their ships. Although the Daleks swiftly exterminated them, as they moved deep into the mountains that dominated the northern land mass, they came across the parents and realised the threat the Nidilla posed. After they trapped several Daleks in their webs, the remaining Daleks opened fire. The battle was long and fierce, but the Nidilla were finally defeated. (PROSE: Exterminated Pests)
