Nick Evans in 1996 (DOC: I Was a Doctor Who Monster!)
Nicholas Evans (born 2 August 1932[1]) operated a Dalek and the Slyther in the Doctor Who story The Dalek Invasion of Earth under the name of Nick Evans. He also played Didius in The Romans.
He later operated an uncredited Dalek in The Power of the Daleks. (DWM 180)
He shared his memories of his Doctor Who career on the documentaries I Was a Doctor Who Monster, Future Memories and The Story of Doctor Who.
As of 2025, Evans is the earliest surviving Dalek operator.
