Characters[]

References[]

  • River Song snarkily mutters that she can't wait for the Eleventh Doctor to regenerate, in response to his behaving in a particularly annoying fashion — referencing the fact that a Time Lord's quirks and personality traits shift with regeneration.

Notes[]

  • This is the first backup for Year Two of Doctor Who: The Eleventh Doctor.
  • The comic implies that River Song believes the Eleventh Doctor will one day regenerate, which he does indeed do in The Time of the Doctor despite having reached the end of his natural regeneration cycle. Nonetheless, upon first meeting him, River Song would later be shown not to recognize the Twelfth Doctor. (TV: The Husbands of River Song)
