Neeloc was a Time Lord who studied at the Prydonian College at the Gallifreyan Academy.
Biography[]
Early life[]
At the Prydonian College, Neeloc befriended off-worlders Taylor Addison, B'arech, K'arel and Galadina and had big plans for the group, believing that they could go on to do great things like the Doctor and other Time Lords that he admired. It was his belief that nobody would care about where any of them came from when they became successful. (AUDIO: Insurgency)
Losing his friends[]
Neeloc was fascinated to learn of the Sontaran invasion of Gallifrey from Leela during her lecture and wanted to know about how she fell in love with Andred. He suggested that he and his friends speak to Valyes after K'arel was expelled, but his friends worried that they would be next if they chose to do so. He later believed that it would be counter-productive to protest against Valyes' actions.
The situation at the Academy caused Neeloc to drift away from his friends, but he was greatly upset to lose another friend when B'arech was recalled by the Monans. Because of his choice of friends, he was beaten up by a group of Time Lord students and was taken to the medical bay where he needed help to bathe himself because of his injuries. He told Valyes that Taylor planned to find the Great Key of Rassilon in an attempt to keep him from getting himself into trouble. (AUDIO: Insurgency)
Departing Gallifrey[]
Neeloc attended Taylor's funeral and was upset by Valyes' speech about "misguided youths", not believing that that described his friend at all. He thanked Leela for attending and, at her suggestion, decided to go to Earth to explain to make sure that Taylor's family knew that he was not a terrorist. He also decided that he would go exploring like his hero, the Doctor. (AUDIO: Insurgency)
Personality[]
Neeloc greatly admired the Doctor and often spoke about him, something which was the source of amusement and mock irritation to his friends and which led him to leave Gallifrey and explore. He respected Valyes and initially believed that most Time Lords were pro-integration despite evidence to the contrary, but came to realise the truth. (AUDIO: Insurgency)
