Mulberry Gride was a 19th century Londoner.
He owned a tannery on Jacob's Island. He manipulated Jeremiah Castle, who controlled the island. When Castle was brought into the Darkling Façade, he killed Gride. He was disfigured when his factory burnt down. (AUDIO: Jago & Litefoot & Patsy)
