Mount Megeshra

The view from the cave. (TV: The Monster of Peladon)

Mount Megeshra was a mountain on Peladon. (TV: The Monster of Peladon) It was divided into a light and dark side. (PROSE: Legacy) A network of tunnels near Megeshra led directly into the mines. (TV: The Monster of Peladon)

After King Erak conquered Peladon, he had his subjects build a castle on the top of Mount Megeshra, which eventually became known as the Citadel of Peladon. When Sherak overthrew Erak, he took the castle for himself.

Five years later, Sherak investigated the dark side of Mount Megeshra, where he encountered and was saved by an Aggedor. This led to Aggedors being sacred animals. (PROSE: Legacy)

In 3935, Ettis hid a sonic lance in a cave on Megeshra which overlooked the castle, which he planned to destroy. Azaxyr fitted the device with a self-destruct mechanism which, when activated, blew it up, killing Ettis. Eckersley also hid his spaceship behind Megeshra. (TV: The Monster of Peladon)
