Moreland was a Colbalt miner stationed at their base on Ceres. He saved the First Doctor, Vicki Pallister and Steven Taylor from the de-pressurising section of the base. He started to become psychologically altered and at one point wanted to kill himself. After the deaths of Thorn and Qureshi, he was the only survivor on the base. (AUDIO: The Bounty of Ceres)
